Maná Resgate is a rehabilitation center providing shelter and support to individuals under the care of Pastor George. Despite limited resources and structural challenges, this project has become the only family for many residents. A Lifeline for Those in Need

Maná Resgate is more than just a rehabilitation center; it's a lifeline for those who have nowhere else to turn. Currently, the project shelters around 11 individuals, many of whom have been there for over a decade. Pastor George, the heart and soul of Maná Resgate, leads this initiative with unwavering dedication, often without the help of volunteers.

His commitment means he rarely gets a day off, as the residents rely heavily on him for their daily needs. The burden on Pastor George is immense, both physically and emotionally, but his faith and determination drive him to continue this critical work. We believe that with the support of others, through donations or prayer, the impact of Maná Resgate can be even greater.

Challenges and the
Call for Support

The reality at Maná Resgate is challenging. The center often faces delicate situations due to the nature of rehabilitation, where residents struggle with withdrawal symptoms that can lead to aggressive behavior, health issues, and emotional distress.

The facility itself is in a precarious state; when it rains, the building suffers from severe leaks, and there have been instances where rooms have flooded due to poor infrastructure. This has led to the loss of essential furniture and beds. Recently, we identified an urgent need for a new water tank, as the current water storage system threatens the structural integrity of the house.

Despite these challenges, financial support for the project is minimal, with most contributions coming from the families of the residents, who are often impoverished, or from former residents who have overcome their addictions.

Our mission is to raise awareness and encourage others to become part of this essential work, either through financial contributions or by joining us in prayer for the continued success and sustainability of Maná Resgate.
